CD And DVD Duplication: The Benefits

By Darrel Jefferson

Just when people were beginning to figure out exactly how to duplicate CD-ROMs and DVDs, the mainstream media switches to the Blu-Ray disc. This shift has come as a result of more advanced technology that allows for higher quality viewing. DVDs were read by a red laser, which was far more advanced than the no lasers involved in VHS. Blu-ray discs on the other hand are read by blue lasers, hence the name.

CD and DVD duplication is a really fast process. If you have ever worked in a stressful environment than you know that time is money. Trying to assemble lots of CD's or DVD's can be a very time consuming process. If you were to do it at home, it could take weeks or months. You don't have that kind of time. In normal circumstances, it can only take 2-3 business days to get your large order to you. Whether you ordered 50 or 500, those duplicated DVD or CDs can make it to your doorstep quick and get you ready for what you will do next.

All of these processes are handled in a mass producing factory, worked by automated machines in order to not allow for any error. Blu-Ray replication begins with master copies which must be provided on a portable hard drive, unlike DVD masters. Then a glass master, or aluminum master disc, is created from that. The glass master is then used to stamp the information and content into the hot polycarbon. This allows the Blu-Ray player to be able to read the imprints on the discs.

Print out a label - This option is great for those looking for a cleaner look a cheaper budget. Simply go buy the right labels at an office supply store, and run it through your printer with the right setting. This will give you a nice look but adds to the thickness of the CD and can get stuck in certain devices.

CD and DVD duplication not only is able to copy your CDs or DVDs but you can also choose what you want printed on the top of your discs for an included price.

As Blu-Ray players can still read DVDs but DVD players cannot read Blu-Ray discs, it would be wise to make the shift now from DVD player to Blu-Ray player. Not only are DVDs going the way of the VHS, but Blu-Rays are becoming increasingly less expensive and more accessible. Soon enough DVDs will be a thing of the past and you will not be able to watch anything at home without a Blu-Ray player.

If you have ever compared the abilities of the Blu-Ray and the DVD you know that there is no comparison and that the blue laser does clearly make a difference. Becoming aware of how the duplication process works will allow you to understand the simplicity and instantaneousness of the whole process.

If you are looking to have more CDs and DVDs made, you should absolutely look into CD duplication and DVD duplication. These services can be quick, have amazing quality, and give your CDs and DVDs a nice professional done look.
