There are a lot of types of pump seals with totally different configurations that can assist the user to identify the perfect seal as per their application and their usage. The leakage is especially prevented as a result of the o-ring parts are compressed between the stationary components. The leakage by the shaft cannot happen as well, because the o-ring is positioned within the rotary component which grips in opposition to the shaft.
