Wow Your Prospects And Make Them Your Clients

By Thomas Rogers

Much of business is about finding new clients. Expertise always goes a long way, but demonstrable success always speaks volumes, and to demonstrate your success (and the money you make with it) you have to fake it until you make it - to start with, anyway. But how to impress a potential client? One way would be to take them to a top-notch party venue to show them a good time. Whether or not you feel comfortable about doing it, it does work.

Many clients will want to meet you during the day, so offer to take them for lunch at an exclusive members club or a hotspot in London. If you are being really imaginative, try something like a restaurant that was once a film location.

The object of the entire exercise is to give an impression of success, because nobody wants to give their business to companies that aren't successful. It's not being deceptive, because you really are offering a real, valuable service - something you can actually deliver. But in business, you have to market yourself, and marketing means impressing your potential client enough for them to become a real client.

Fashion venues, outdoor venues or a vip club in London, each one of these can show the clients you are doing well, so you don't have to. Now, all you have to do is focus on the sale, pitching what you are good at. Don't ever let the bravado do the sale for you, use it as an amazing stand out first impression and then make the sale.

However you try to impress your potential clients, always remember that you have competition - everyone else wants to show how good they are, which means you really have to use your imagination when it comes to making that pitch - and where you make it.
