Wedding Favors That Guests Will Love

By Katelynn Mochizuki

Planning a wedding is an enormous undertaking because there are so many little details to think about. While some tasks are more difficult than others, one of the most fun items to choose is wedding favors for your guests. There are thousands of items to consider, but here are some whimsical options your guests will undoubtedly enjoy.

Anything that lights up will get people's attention and it sets a fun tone for the evening. There are an enormous selection of exciting light-up LED novelties that make great favors. For example, there are blinking, flashing LED pins in hundreds of themes. For a wedding, consider pins in the shape of a wedding cake complete with a bride and groom topper. You can also choose pins in the shape of champagne flutes or a pin that fits the theme of your wedding.

Other LED favors to consider are LED necklaces, pendants or bracelets. Light-up, LED jewelry comes in a huge selection of styles and colors. You can also serve drinks in LED champagne flutes or LED wine glasses. LED drinkware is available in many colors, and there are even light-up, LED ice cubes that you can have your bartender place into cocktails or soda.

If you have been a frequent wedding guest, you probably have seen your share of candies and chocolates given out as favors. For a special, unique treat, place a candy dispenser at each place setting filled with candy that favors your wedding colors. There are mini gum and candy dispensers available in several colors. Other edible options include customized chocolate-dipped fortune cookies or chocolate bars with custom labels.

Depending on your wedding's theme, you can select favors that will complement the decorations. For example, for a fairytale wedding, consider passing out favors in little boxes in the shape of a princess carriage. For a beach theme, select little boxes in the shapes of palm trees or place lighthouse tea light candle holders at each table.

Personalized favors are a great keepsake, as well. You can opt for traditional items such as custom napkins and matchbooks or pass out helpful items such as custom water bottles or lip balm. Customized drink glasses make a great personalized keepsake, as do picture frames and candleholders.
