Tips For Choosing Logo Coasters

By Annabelle Holman

Getting your business out there can be hard. There is no right or wrong and some approaches will work better than others. The problem is that some more traditional methods may not stand out. One potential option you may not have considered are logo coasters.

If you have just set up your business then you may not necessarily have a logo. If this is the case then you should choose a company that also offers design work or go to a graphic designer before going to a printer. This will help ensure that the design looks as professional as possible.

Another way is to have a distinct giveaway, especially for events such as networking or trade fairs and exhibitions. People often love getting freebies and something that stands out helps. However it also helps if it is relatively inexpensive so that you can have plenty for everyone attending the event and you do not miss out on potential connections.

For example you may want to attend business networking events. In this instance you want people to know about your business and what you have to offer. The problem is that at larger events people can end up getting boxes and lanyards full of cards that they may not necessarily remember.

Coasters have a practical use that other giveaways may not necessarily have. They will be in a home and used every day and often by a number of people every day. With other giveaways such as bags of candy they will get thrown away. Every day people will look at your logo every time they pick up their drink. And if they need your kind of service the chances are your company will be the first people they remember and therefore the first people they speak to, giving you a distinct advantage over the competition!

At this moment your coaster is the nearest thing available. Your logo is there for them to see and they will therefore look for your company. This psychological reaction should not be underestimated and it could help you get work. There is also a similar reaction at networking events as people remember the distinct look.

There is also the issue of print quality and the quality of material used to make the coasters. A good quality coaster will not rip or tear after a few uses and will withstand plenty of usage. Anything that does rip or tear will get thrown away so it is worth investing a little bit more to get the best possible quality. You should also get proofs or a sample before ordering to check so that you avoid any expensive mistakes, resulting in a lot of wasted time and money.

A quick check online will give you a number of options. Some will be available near you while others will be based on the internet. When ordering on the internet check to see if shipping and other costs are included. Furthermore remember to get samples or proofs before placing large orders as companies tend to refuse refunds if the mistakes are made by you. Look online for more design tips and help to ensure you get the best looking products as well as print companies and customer feedback and reviews from a variety of sources.
