Trailer Wraps & The Importance Of Art Everywhere

By Bob Oliver

There are many different establishments that seem to be entirely focused on art, which is easy to understand. It's clear that museums are able to showcase some of the finest works imaginable and I believe that the same can be said for the various galleries that one will be able to attain. However, in terms of marketing, not many people would immediately associate "art" with such items as trailer wraps. However, this is where Art Everywhere can come into play and, suffice to say, it's pretty interesting.

According to an article on the Guardian, Art Everywhere is a campaign centered in the UK that focuses on - you guessed it - art. Specifically, this is viewed as the biggest art showing within the country, which is illustrated by the fact that it has been implemented into a series of 30,000 posters and billboards. I do not think that anyone can argue with the fact that this method is ideal for the purposes of awareness. It's easy to see that art can draw anyone's attention, regardless of knowledgeable they are on the matter.

One has to wonder what can happen if this method was taken even further. Billboards and posters alike are tremendous for getting any message across but I'd like to think that the same can be said for trailer wraps, which have the distinct advantage of being mobile. In addition, the wraps hold up much better over the course of time, provided the right companies are responsible for building them. This is where authorities along the lines of JMR Graphics can come into effect.

From what I have seen, Art Everywhere is effective in terms of breaking up what can be seen as mundane advertising. Instead of being greeted with a product showcasing hotel deals or a new energy drink, an individual will see a creative piece of art, which more than deviates from what we can view as the norm. Art Everywhere has a tremendous reach and I'd like to think that it can only get better. Of course, this is dependent on whether or not this method is utilized again.

A method like Art Everywhere definitely has potential and it should be utilized time and time again. Art is meant to engage people, an affect which I'm sure will be heightened as it helps to break up the standard flow of marketing on billboards, posters, and the like. The UK has a strong concept in mind when it comes to Art Everywhere. It's just a matter of making sure it lasts so that its benefits will prove to be that much more constant.
