How To Take Your Written Content To The Next Level

By Rob Fore

As an online business owner, and possibly article marketer, we know you are always in search of new places to market your business. The obvious design on that is to drive more traffic to your site for your end goals.

Most people tend to follow the same basic methods, and people are creatures of habit and will also have a preference for avoiding striking out on their own. Remember that you have to test and give new things a chance, and that will sometimes yield fruit for you. Those who do well in business tend to have similar traits, behaviors and beliefs.

As an article marketer, you have to figure out how many words your articles should contain. The shorter variety are anywhere from 400 to about 500 words. One approach is to write longer articles, which are usually at least 750 words. In general, you'll do better by writing and submitting longer articles. First, sites who syndicate your articles generally prefer longer content, and that means there is a greater chance of getting syndicated. Just as importantly, longer articles that appear on your own blog will have a better chance of getting well ranked by the search engines. If you find yourself lacking in inspiration, then use your phrases from your niche in Google Alerts - problem solved. Then you will choose interesting news topics, which will be relevant to a keyword phrase, and then use that in your content. Just paraphrase the news and present it to your niche readers, and it is so simple to do. Using this strategy will never fail to be a source of interesting variety on topics that are of current relevance to your readers. Also, it breaks-up the usual forms of article or content writing and will engage your site visitors.

There is still quite a buzz about taking your marketing to FaceBook, and there are compelling reasons for it. Create your own group there, and you can do that and invite other groups to join yours, etc. Once you are in, then you begin showcasing your content to all the other users and also do some networking. You will be strengthening your brand due to the fact people can see who you are, and then just go from that point onward.

Theft of original content is very common online, and if you publish anything on the internet this has most likely happened to you. Swiped content is a particular problem if you regularly submit to article directories. If you use the right approach, however, you may be able to turn this problem into a blessing in disguise. Contact any webmaster who has used your articles without giving you credit. What you do is be professional and polite, then explain the situation to them. First of all, inform them that if they want to use your articles they must publish the resource box or a link; then tell them that you'll be glad to supply them with articles consistently if they agree to this condition. In a reasonable manner, let them know that you're prepared to file a DMCA take-down notice if they refuse to give you the proper credit.

You cannot afford to have really off days with creating traffic to your site, so you have to do more. I will suggest to you that there are many more possibilities for generating traffic, and even links, when you use the ideas just discussed. Avoid rushing through any of this because your content will suffer as it always does when you hurry.
