Trade shows also enable you to exhibit your products and services offered before a global audience and also come to know of new markets. In order to reap the maximum benefits out of a Trade Show, the planning has to be proper. The businesses should have a distinct aim and objective regarding why they are participating at the show and what they can gain from it. Proper research should be done about the audience visiting the fair. If the visitors are your targeted customers, the number of competitors participating and the amount of response the show has been able to generate and the number of footfalls the fair got in the past and how many can be expected in the participating year?

Position of the stalls in the exhibition is another side that every participating business should consider important. The location of your stall in the exhibition will influence the number of the customers and the response in their parts regarding your part. Having a proper place in the exhibition fair may cost some more money but it will be profitable at it will increase the benefit level the maximum. In case you have shortage with funds you can compromise with the size of the stall but not with the location. You can also go for barter system of agreement with the organizers.

You should have a simple look of the stall, yet it should be so designed, to make it attractive. You could introduce small token gifts like t-shirts, key chains, pens, bags. You could also initiate some competitions so that you can induce more participation. These free attractions would draw more visitors to your stall. You could keep a presentation handy in case you are a service provider, so that the visitors can be educated well on the services which are on offer.

Language

Language is a very important factor to be considered in trade shows. When English is not the primary language spoken in the country where you are participating, it is best to hire the services of a language interpreter to talk to the visitors in their local language. Brochures should be printed in the local language, so that you can get a good response from the visitors. Those who are representing the company at these trade shows should be cooperative, friendly, and must be aware of the company and its products. They should be able to talk in an impressive manner with the customers.
