How To Make Money Selling Books Online

By Maryanne Goff

A lot of freelance writers have discovered that they can profit a lot out of the internet market. They know very well how to make money selling books online. They just write simple short stories and have them published. There are a lot of applications that can fix up your manuscript and turn them into online books. All you have to do now is be creative and come up with stories that you know will turn into a good novel.

Nearly anybody can write a book. All you have to do is be equipped with good grammar and spelling, and a simple writing style. The rest will follow. You do not have to be so specific with the idea that you have in mind. You can start with nearly anything; an idea, an inspiration, an interesting person. Just as long as you know you can milk that idea and turn it into something big, then you're on the right track.

Get a notebook. This is where everything will start. Most people nowadays do not even write on paper anymore, but most great authors will promise that there is a different connection between the mind, pen, and paper. Besides, you might not have immediate access to computers at all times, so getting a notebook in hand would be very practical for you.

Invest in a nice hardbound or card bound notebook. Take a notebook that would survive the beating inside your bag, or one that doesn't get torn down easily. You can get a completely blank one that doesn't even have lines or grids for a free flowing page. However, you could also opt to get one that has grids so if you need to draw or indent your writing, you can do so.

The first part is always the most difficult for some. It sometimes is very confusing to know where to start. You may have a gold mine of ideas, but you have to start somewhere. Picture everything in your head and write them one by one. Bring color to all the ideas in your head, to all the people you want to write about, and to all the places as well.

You can proceed to the next step which is writing an outline. It doesn't have to be structured yet. You can have a very loose outline; an idea of how the story will progress. However, you should have a better idea where the story is going. You should define where and at what point the story starts, how it builds up, and how everything will come into conclusion.

Next, develop plots and twists as you go along. All stories must have their quirks and certain characteristics that make them very unique. Set up the events and build up to the climax of the story. This is the time to decide if you're going to have a very vivid story, or if you're not focusing on certain areas of the narrative.

After building things up, you have to cut things down. Read over your work and find out which parts deviate from the actual story. Make it streamlined and edit your work. Make it as perfect as you could because you now know how to make money selling books online. Most of all, enjoy your work and have fun with it.
