Using Marketing Automation Systems Helps You Build A Bigger Business

By Daphne Bowen

When you were marketing, in the old days, you spent a lot of time writing notes on paper with a pen or pencil. You sent drawings, through the mail, drawn with a pencil or India ink. You spent quite a bit of time on the phone and do not even think about the time you spent, online, at the post office. That is why you can breathe a sigh of relief when you hear about all of the marketing automation systems that are available, now.

One of the first of these systems, of course, is the computer. It made possible the computing of things that you used to have to do on a pad of paper. It also made it possible to print individual letters or labels with mail merge so as to save you some time in your mailing procedure. You still had to get them in the mail and you could nothing about finding out if the address was bad, unless you paid more for the service.

The way to access all of the automation that is waiting for you to use is through the Internet. The ability to market to the entire world will make anyone looking for wealth, through marketing, take notice. Gaining customers from all over the world makes the efforts you made, in your neighborhood at your corner store, pale in comparison.

That blog or website you know needs to be built is something that must have a lot of content uploaded to it. That is something that can be automated. That is software that scours other sites and captures articles that can make you an authority on the subject you are dealing with. People enjoy reading about the subject, especially if you have information that can help solve a problem.

Another, some say the most important, software, often web based, is the auto responder. This is a snippet of code that is uploaded onto your server that collects email addresses from people through what is called a capture form. This is critical as this is the beginning of the process of list building.

This email list is your pipeline to them in a relationship building way. This system takes an entire set of emails and delivers them, one at a time, as scheduled, so they can begin to trust you enough to buy what you recommend. This is that relationship building that delivers value as long as you do not try to force anything on them.

Some of the other systems available at a reasonable cost or even, in some cases, free are websites that will submit articles that you write to directories and other websites. These articles are a low cost way to get people interested enough to come to your site. This will get them interested in leaving their email address, so this whole thing starts, again.

The amount of time you spend in productive activities, apart from those that are automated allows you to create the wealth that you should be making. Those automated things happen while you are busy with the more productive side of things. All of this means you can spend your time working on the next big launch and going to the bank.
