Analysts have released a list of the hottest job opportunities for veterans in 2015. Their pay is excellent with the jobs offering a chance at career progression and satisfaction. Employers are frantically looking for ex-military men and women because they offer more than academic qualification.

Management Consultant- the role rides on the discipline and ability to stick to procedure as is required in military training. The manager must provide a solution that is within the existing legal framework. It requires advanced analysis of systems with the aim of identifying weaknesses and offering solutions. The consultants make up to 98,000 dollars in a year.

IT Project Manager- soldiers are expected to step in for any of their juniors or seniors while in the field. This fits the description of IT project managers. They understand what programmers, developers and designers are doing within their unit and are ready to assist. Your discipline in meeting deadlines and following instructions also means that projects will be delivered on time. The annual pay is in the range of 96,000 dollars.

Aviation Management- soldiers who worked in the air wing department stand a better chance managing civilian installations. The salary range is around 84,000 dollars where the expectation is to design, research and execute programs for the aviation industry. Some soldiers have made it big as aviation industry consultants. Your experience will be crucial when testing projects before commissioning.

Business Development Management- this is an area that requires leadership. Most employers consider ex-soldiers excellent leaders who also command respect from colleagues. They build relationships that provide the best working environment. Expected remuneration is about 77,100 a year.

Intelligence Analyst- the role involves working with security agencies tasked with protecting Americans. The role of the analyst is to look at the information collected from bureaus in an area and identify if there are any threats to national security. It is a prestigious position where you will earn up to 73,000 dollars.

Electrical Engineer- soldiers who engaged in navigation systems, weapon development and electrical systems find lucrative jobs as electrical engineers. They are employed in government agencies, public utilities and by private engineering companies. The engineers make at least 72,000 dollars in one year.

Software Development- this job requires in depth understanding of mathematical concepts, coding language and programming. The military attribute of problem solvers makes the ex-soldiers fit into application development. With a salary of over 70,800 dollars in one year, it is considered among the most lucrative.

Operations Management- soldiers are trained to be efficient and problem solvers. These are the same attributes required of operation managers. Your responsibility will be to ensure that processes are efficient. Depending on the employer, you will take home between 65,000 and 110,000 dollars a year.

The academic requirements for the above positions are lenient with priority being given to veterans. Your credentials in the military are an added advantage.
